Lake Hāwea sauna
A laid-back vibe, world famous for it’s stunning sauna views. The dip in-between sauna rounds in the crystal waters is memorable. A truly healing and magical experience amongst nature.
1 hour 20 minutes from Queenstown airport and 20 minutes from Wānaka.

Cardrona mountain sauna
A luxury experience, immersed in breathtaking mountains. Enjoy cold dip in custom pools, fed from a fresh mountain creek. An adventurous wellness experience amongst nature.
45 minutes from Queenstown airport and 20 minutes from Wānaka.

“What a find – has to be one of the most beautiful views from a sauna in the world. We booked the shared sauna for 1 hour and stayed in the sauna for 15 minutes at a time with dips in the water. As well as the gorgeous scenery, Nat made us feel so welcome and we loved the eucalyptus scent added with the steam. It was also nice to sit outside with a tea even after our slot had ended. Launched in 2023 with our humble eight-person barrel sauna, we’ve since expanded to two distinct locations, a lakeside sauna in Lake Hāwea and a mountain sauna in Cardrona, both with two saunas for both private and shared sessions.
Our saunas are custom handcrafted by Marijn at Heartwood Cedar in Christchurch from high-quality Western Red Cedar and Baltic Pine.
We believe we have some of the best views in the world, and our secret spots are truly magical.

At our Lake Hāwea sauna near Wānaka and our mountain sauna in Cardrona, half way between Queenstown and Wānaka, we offer more than just warmth. Regular visits are a simple yet powerful way to improve your overall well-being.
Regular sauna and contrast therapy sessions can boost mood, improve circulation, and reduce inflammation. They support muscle recovery, enhance sleep quality, and even strengthen the immune system. Saunas also promote detoxification, healthier skin, and may lower the risk of cognitive decline.
